As parents, we tend to focus more on what our teens can do and not so much about who they are becoming as an individual.
Question(s): What happens when that thing they do goes away? What happens to their core identity? Do they know who they are at the core through the losses in life? Or do the circumstances of life dictate who they are each day?
To be able to answer these questions, we first need to understand the two biggest questions teens are asking. Then, we need to learn the 3 results of developing a healthy core identity and what we can do to steer our kids on this path.
In today's podcast, I will discuss how to help our teens become human beings vs human doings and why developing their core identity is crucial for success in life.
