As a parent of two teens, life sometimes feels like a tug of war. It feels like we are pulling the rope in opposite directions. And it tires me out...as it should.
One of the keys to winning as a coaching parent, is to make sure we are pulling the rope in the same direction, or rowing the boat together in sync. We want to know and feel like we on the same page with our kids when it comes to school, homework, their friends, technology, family, etc.
In today's podcast, Dan Rockwell and I continue the discussion about what it looks like for a parent and teen to pull the rope together in the same direction. In addition, we discuss some pretty powerful questions to explore with our teens that will get them to think more clearly.
